Bournemouth Air Festival 2024 is hoping to inspire budding engineers with an enhanced STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Village on the beach. Following its success since 2021, the innovation-inspired village will feature unique demonstrations and displays from industry-leading companies, both local and national.
Why should your business get involved?
If you are a business or organisation that wants to increase the UK STEM talent pool, Bournemouth Air Festival attracts over 500,000 visitors, who come from all over the UK.
Grace Benham, Channel Chair at RNLI, said: "The Bournemouth Air Festival includes a fantastic STEM event for businesses to reach and engage with a huge number of young people and their parents, increasing their knowledge of engineering and technology. The RNLI’s engineering team really enjoy being part of the event, with our apprentices designing the activities on our stand, and our engineers getting involved and leading the activities during the days."
Duncan Newman, Economic Development Officer at BCP Council, said: "The STEM Village is the perfect opportunity for businesses to engage with and inspire the next generation of homegrown talent to do incredible things. I am delighted to welcome the following businesses to this year's event. If you would like to join them, get in touch!"
