Poole Regatta 2024

Get ready because something super cool is happening soon! It’s called the International Paint Poole Regatta 2024, and it’s going to be awesome!

So, this regatta is basically a big sailing event happening from May 25th to 27th, 2024, in Poole Bay. It’s going to be epic, with lots of boats and sailing excitement!

Poole Bay is this really beautiful spot with calm waters and perfect winds for sailing. That’s why they chose it for the regatta. It’s like a dream come true for sailing fans!

And guess what? This year, they’re doing something special. They’re hosting the GBR IRC National Championship for the first time ever outside of a place called the Solent. It’s a big deal in the sailing world!

But wait, there’s more! This regatta isn’t just for super serious sailors. Nope, it’s for everyone who loves sailing. There are different types of boats racing, like Performance 40, Sonata, J80, and more. They’ve got races for all kinds of boats, so it’s going to be a blast!

And it’s not just about the racing. There’s going to be lots of fun stuff to do on land too. Parties, social events, you name it! It’s going to be a weekend to remember for sure!

This regatta has been going on since the year 2000 when they celebrated the Millennium. Back then, they had 50 boats, but now, they get between 150 to 200 boats every time! It’s become a big deal in the sailing world, and everyone looks forward to it.

We are very pleased to welcome the GBR IRC National Championship as part of the International Paint Poole Regatta in 2024. We look forward to welcoming the IRC fleet to racing in Poole Bay, as this is the first time the Championship has been held outside the Solent.
