Enjoy a Fun Easter in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole!

Spring is here, and our lovely towns of Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole (BCP) are full of fun things to do for Easter! There's something for everyone, whether you like egg hunts, pretty walks, or trying new crafts.


Richard Herrett, who helps look after our parks and activities, says, "Easter is a wonderful time to get out and enjoy our beautiful area. We have lots of fun things to do, indoors and outdoors, no matter the weather!"


So, let's see what's happening in each town:


Bournemouth:

Fun for the Kids: The Woodpecker Café in Queen’s Park is having a free play day for children with games, coloring, and Easter crafts. They also have a puzzle trail with a prize for a small fee.

Mermaid Adventure: Look for the big mermaid statues around town! It's a fun walk, and you'll see some lovely art.

Russell-Cotes Fun: The Russell-Cotes Museum has Easter activities about mermaids and sea creatures. They have trails and craft days.

Easter Brunch: Enjoy a special Easter brunch at the Park Cafes. Call or email them to book a table. (01202 126888)

New Play Area: Check out the new play area at Kings Park Leisure and Learning Centre.

Funfair: Enjoy the rides and games at the Redhill Funfair.

Beach Fun: Rent a beach hut for a day and enjoy the sea views. Play adventure golf at Smugglers Cove and find the hidden Easter pictures.


Christchurch:

Castle Egg Hunt: Highcliffe Castle is having an Easter trail with clues and challenges. You can also do some crafts. It's best to book your place.

Swimming and Sports: Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre has holiday clubs with swimming and sports to help you stay active.

Good Friday Service: Join the Good Friday service at the Bandstand on the Quay.
18 April, 10.30am-12.30pm.


Poole:

Spring Market: Visit Upton Country Park for a spring market with local crafts. You can also join the Easter trail and win a prize. There are bouncy castles, face painting, and even tree climbing!

History Walk: Take a walk along Poole High Street and learn about the old buildings.

Swimming and Sports: Go swimming or try other activities at Rossmore and Poole Dolphin Leisure Centres.

Holiday Clubs for Children:

Children can join fun holiday clubs with sports, egg hunts, crafts, and food activities.
